Seven Eleven Hotel & Residence

Seven Eleven Hotel & Residence attracts guests by not being a luxury mega hotel situated in the middle of Colombo’s busy city center. This homey little retreat is located about 16 kilometers from the greater Colombo area in a little-known suburb called Thalawatugoda, bordering Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, Sri Lanka’s capital. Thalawatugoda is not a town that would appear in tourist brochures anytime soon. Occupied mostly by the Sri Lankan middle-class, Thalawatugoda is a muted town with little traffic, small crowds and less noise. It's easily accessible by car or tuk tuk, and public transportation is available to the nearby Thalawatugoda Junction. To reach the hotel, turn to Hokandara Road from the junction, and from here turn to the side road by the giant sign that says “Seven Eleven.”
